Provided in the comfort of a patient’s home whether that be a private home, personal care home, assisted living or nursing home. Services are provided according to the plan of care. On call services are also available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Respite Care
Provides short term relief to a patient's caregiver by transferring the patient to an inpatient facility for up to five days at a time.

Bereavement Support
Grief is a natural part of life and navigating its journey can be life-changing. Each person's experience of grief is unique, and there is no right or wrong way to grieve. It is not something we can simply "get over" in a few days, weeks, or months.
While grief may not have a definitive end, healing is possible. By experiencing and working through grief, you can adjust to life after loss. Healing involves reconciling your grief and discovering new meaning in your life.

Our Bereavement Services
At Gerogia Community Hospice, we offer bereavement services designed to help you reconcile your grief and move forward in life without the physical presence of your loved one.
Family members of our patients receive bereavement services for up to thirteen months or longer after the passing of a loved one.
Our support includes:
-
Bereavement support phone calls and visits
-
Invitations to our annual community memorial services
-
A monthly newsletter, Journeys, published by the Hospice Foundation of America, providing resources and insights for navigating grief.
We are here to support you during this difficult time and help you find hope and healing.
